Diwali Splurge

We warmly invited the energetic fathers of the Pre-primary Section for a Diwali Splurge! Our Diwali celebration was a bit unique this year as we took fathers and their respective little munchkins down to the Biology Lab, where the harm bursting firecrackers can do to our lungs was shown through an experiment. Next, we took them to the Home Science Lab where a demonstration on how organic rangoli colours are prepared was shown using various fruits and vegetables. Our goal was to promote an Eco-friendly Diwali. Lastly, fathers and children sat down in our Activity Den to make Diwali decorative items like painting diyas, making lanterns,etc together. It served as a creative bonding activity between father and child. We culminated with an energetic round of Garba! We hope the fathers enjoyed our Diwali Splurge celebrations while bonding with their child at the same time. 0
