On the occasion of Shakespeare's Birthday, our students brought to life the powerful courtroom scene of The Merchant of Venice!
The iconic "Pound of Flesh" act was performed with great confidence, expression, and understanding of the text. The students beautifully portrayed the tension between justice and mercy, capturing the essence of characters like Shylock, Antonio, Bassanio, and Portia. Their performance reflected not only their acting skills but also their deep comprehension of Shakespeare's language and themes. It was truly commendable to see their enthusiasm, teamwork, and dedication, making the celebration both meaningful and memorable.
