Shakespeare Day Celebration

Shakespeare Day Celebration

National Shakespeare Day is a time to celebrate Shakespeare's life and legacy, and to explore the enduring relevance of his works. We took the opportunity of this momentous occasion to conduct a unique activity! Students were asked to come dressed up as various iconic characters from Shakespeare plays like Romeo and Juliet, Julius Caesar, Bassanio and many more. One by one, they came up on the dias and introduced themselves as the aforementioned character. Additionally, a few students performed the famous Court scene from Merchant of Venice in our esteemed Moot Court. Principal Ma’am gave a speech reiterating the importance of how Shakespeare’s works have shaped literature in a significant manner and how we should take pride in studying them. 0
